Elizabeth Davis-Edwards, Board President
Founder & CEO, WelcomeNST
Elizabeth is the founder and CEO of WelcomeNST, leading efforts to connect communities with newcomers through Neighborhood Support Teams. With over 20 years of experience in strategy, marketing, storytelling, and nonprofit leadership, she has helped Fortune 500 companies and mission-driven organizations alike drive impact. Elizabeth holds an MBA from Boston University and a BS in Sociology from Brigham Young Universtiy.

Jonathan Rosoff, Vice Chair
Founder & CEO, Formative
Jonathan is the founder and CEO of Formative, a social impact agency working across global health, health sciences, climate, media, and tech policy. He has partnered with the Gates Foundation, Gates Ventures, Breakthrough Energy, Microsoft, Amazon, National Geographic, and more. Before founding Formative, he spent nearly two decades at Razorfish and Digitas, leading global accounts and building strategy and analytics capabilities. He holds a BA in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA in Marketing from Columbia Business School.
Stephanie Southwick Cahoon, Secretary
Writer & Artist
Stephanie is a dedicated community advocate and trustee for the Belmont Public Library, as well as a past co-president of the Friends of the Belmont Public Library. She holds a master's degree from Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in political science from Brigham Young University. Passionate about community engagement and family support, she enjoys travel, skiing, and time with her four grown children and grandchild.

Grant Bennett, Treasurer
Board Member, CPS Technologies Corporation
Grant is an experienced CEO and board director with a background in global manufacturing, business strategy, and high-reliability electronics. Educated at MIT and the University of Utah, he combines leadership and innovation experience with a commitment to family and civic responsibility.
Kate Clark, Board Member
CEO, Welcoming Initiative for Newcomers (WIN)
Kate oversees WIN, advancing lawful pathways and community sponsorships for newcomers. With prior leadership at Jewish Family Service of San Diego, she helped build the SDRRN Migrant Shelter, a national model for welcoming over 220,000 newcomers. Kate’s expertise spans immigration services, community partnerships, and innovative resettlement programs.

Alham Saadat, Board Member
Cross-Sector Leader
Alham integrates expertise in biomedical research, ethics, public policy, and nonprofit governance. She founded the Research Ethics Consultancy at the Broad Institute and has led NSTs for refugee resettlement. A civic leader and refugee herself, Alham is Chair of Arlington Libraries Foundation and has driven $300M in local infrastructure investments.
Larry Tobin, Board Member
Director, The Shapiro Foundation
Larry has led The Shapiro Foundation since 2017, creating resettlement opportunities for refugees worldwide. Formerly at Combined Jewish Philanthropies, he brings decades of fundraising and community-building experience to support newcomers in rebuilding their lives.
